Project group Natural resources, Environment and Climate
This is perhaps one of the most important and potent focus areas in Greenland. There is no doubt that Greenland is rich in a wide range of natural resources. Locating, extracting and managing these resources is a huge task, in which the focus is not only on the exploitation of the raw materials, but also on the effects and consequences of such operations, including on the environment and climate.
Arctic Business Network works intensively within this area, and aims, through dialogue and co-operation with operators and authorities, to secure the vital interests of Greenlandic society and enterprises through concrete meetings/seminars, etc. We see it as the network's primary task to provide the requisite knowledge and assistance – we have the experience, and can handle the tasks.
From now on, the network will be at the centre of opportunities in the Arctic region, and in co-operation with Greenlandic and international operators, we will ensure a professional level of service for all parties.
