Arctic Business Network (ABN) comprises a network of businesses in Greenland and Northern Jutland. ABN aims to promote and develop the co-operation between these businesses in order to enable joint problem solving.
Until recently, the ABN secretariat in Greenland was located at the Confederation of Greenlandic Employers (GA). However, due to the expansion of the network it was decided to terminate this agreement as of 1 April 2011.
The decision was reached through mutual agreement, as both parties believed it was time to establish an autonomous profile in Greenland.
It should be stressed that GA is still involved in ABN, as a member, and that GA, together with ABN, expects to participate in the planning of –and running events
Our new secretariat in Greenland - henceforth our new business partner - is Suliplus HR Consult, owned and directed by Birgit Gedionsen. Her task will naturally involve servicing the network members in Greenland, co-planning our events and the projects initiated by the network, as well as promoting the network within our areas of focus.
Birgit Gedionsen states that she is looking forward to getting started.
