Autonomous secretariat established in Northern Jutland
Arctic Business Network (ABN) aims to enhance the collaboration between corporations and organizations in Greenland and Northern Jutland. Collaboration is primarily promoted in order for the corporations/organizations to be able to take on more extensive assignments and projects.
Up till now, the secretariat in Northern Jutland was located at the Business Department at the Municipality of Aalborg. However, along with the plans for the future development of the network, it was decided to establish a secretariat with an autonomous profile 1 January 2012.
The secretariat is now administrated by Per Bang, owner and director at pbang++, People Search and Selection. Pbang++ is concerned with the recruitment and headhunting of middle managers and specialists in regards to organizations and businesses within Northern Jutland as well as Greenland. Through the past years, Per Bang has been an active member of Arctic Business Network. Besides being a member of the ABN project group ‘Education and Recruitment’, Bang has had contact with the network members, the Greenlandic House in Aalborg, the Municipality of Aalborg, and not least businesses in Greenland, on a daily basis, through the business partner Suliplus HR Consult.
The main focus areas of the secretariat concerns the recruitment of new member and service of the network members in Northern Jutland. To collaborate on arrangements, events and projects initiated by the network, as well as promoting the network within selected focus areas are likewise paramount.
