Tourism – a great potential

Never before have tourists been so interested in experiences when deciding on a destination. Their expectations towards a holiday now go far beyond just a good hotel, good food and a sunny beach.
We are aware of this at Arctic Business Network, which is why we have made tourism and the experience economy one of our four focus areas.

Greenland is packed with opportunities for experiences – there are plenty of challenges and experiences available to tourists here, and exciting destinations to visit.

But it is also our vision to be a supplier to the industry itself.

We can provide concepts, and help to develop the tourist industry. Together with our trusted partners among the private operators, authorities and contractors, we will work to develop tourist experiences in hunting, fishing, trekking, cruises, heli-skiing, historic sites, dog-sled trips, etc.

We also aim to develop better flight connections – for example from Aalborg to Greenland, on which we are currently working – and establish facilities for the development of cabin holidays, canoe and kayak trips, etc., including the improvement of logistics and infrastructure.

Arctic Business Network is interested in discussing these possibilities, and many others, with potential partners. Contact the secretariat for a conversation on our mutual visions, and let us evaluate the possibilities and resources together.
